FACE THE IMAGE Portrait Book Project -
A collection of portraits chosen by you the view, illustrated by Natty Rebel DRéMO "The Artist".
In 2012, Andre Jones published his first book titled "The Illustrated Sounds of Philadelphia" which captured illustrations of famous and iconic Philadelphian musicians and singers. The creation of these works and book lead to gallery shows and the opportunity to meet a few of the celebrities illustrated in the book. Although, the book was a great success it did not capture the essence of everyday people. However, this summer (2014), Andre is going to paint and illustrate over 200 portraits to comprise into a 20th anniversary portrait photo book. He was inspired to create a book that would highlight and uplift people in their natural environment.
